Ordering

Order Confirmation & Changes

Once your order is placed, it is automatically confirmed and scheduled for creation. Due to high order volume, we’re unable to manually confirm each order. Need to update anything? Contact us within 24 hours via chat. Inspiration photos act as a style guide, not an exact replica.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We offerĀ next-day deliveryĀ for orders placed byĀ 10PMĀ the night before.

Sunday is exception to next-day delivery and all Sunday orders cut-off in Saturday 7:00 AM.

For same-day delivery or event florals, please get in touch — the earlier you order, the more likely we can accomodate your special requests.

Can I request a specific delivery time?

We currently offer delivery within set delivery windows rather than exact times. If you have a special request, you’re welcome to leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate, though it is not guaranteed.

What time will my flowers arrive?

Deliveries typically occur betweenĀ 9AM – 6PM.Ā 

You will receive a message once your blooms are on the way. Delivery times vary depending on your location & traffic.Ā 

If you need your blooms to arrive by a specific time (e.g., before 12PM), please mention it in theĀ Order NotesĀ section.Ā 
Please note delivery service on Sunday will incur surcharge.

What happens if you reach full capacity?

During busy periods (especially Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day), we may close orders early once capacity is reached. We recommend ordering early to secure your spot.

Do you offer corporate or event florals?

Yes! We love working on events and corporate florals. Please contact us via our enquiry form for a custom quote.

Do you offer custom bouquets?

For custom requests, please contact us before ordering. We will do our best to accommodate depending on availability and lead time.

Delivery & Pick-up

Where do you deliver?

We deliver across Melbourne metropolitan areas. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on distance from our studio.

Do you offer pickup?

Yes! Pickup is available from Derrimut, VIC. Once your order is ready, you will receive collection instructions via email.

What if no one is home during delivery?

If no one is home, your flowers will be left in a safe, shaded spot at the property.

If this isn’t possible due, the flowers will be returned to our studio and redelivery may incur an additional fee.

Do you deliver to hospitals, schools, or businesses?

Yes! However, please ensure all delivery details are correct (including ward, department, or business name). We are not responsible for delays due to incomplete information.

To send flowers to a hospital, first verify the facility's specific delivery and flower type policies, as many restrict flowers in areas like the ICU, emergency, or certain specialty wards.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Address changes must be requested as soon as possible. While we will try to help, changes cannot be guaranteed once your order is prepared or dispatched.

Flowers & Quality

How long will my flowers last?

With proper care, most arrangements last 3–7 days or longer. Longevity varies by flower type and environment.

Will my flowers look exactly like the photo?

Each arrangement isĀ uniquely handmadeĀ and may vary slightly depending on seasonal availability.

Our photos represent the overall style and colour palette you can expect.

What happens if a flower is unavailable?

If a specific bloom is unavailable, we may substitute with a similar premium flower of equal or greater value while preserving the colour palette and style.

Why do reflexed roses sometimes show slight curling or markings?

At Abloom, we use extremely fresh premium roses and reflex them into our signature open style. When roses are very fresh, the outer petals can naturally show texturing or firm curling. Light bruising may also be more visible on pale varieties. These are natural characteristics and not signs of poor quality.

Are your flowers pet-safe?

Some flowers can be toxic to pets. If you require a pet-safe arrangement, please contact us prior to ordering and we will happily recommend suitable options.

Care

How do I care for my flowers?

For best results:

  • Trim stems at a 45° angle before placing in water
  • Use a clean vase with fresh water
  • Change water every 1–2 days
  • Keep flowers away from direct sun and heat
  • Remove any wilted blooms promptly

We recommend to place flowers in vase within a few hours of receiving, where possible.

Changes & Cancellations

Can I cancel my order?

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers and the made-to-order process at Abloom, all orders are final once placed. We are unable to offer cancellations, refunds, or change-of-mind returns.

Can I modify my order after placing it?

If you need to make a minor adjustment (such as a card message or delivery note), please contact us as soon as possible. While we will always try to assist, changes cannot be guaranteed once your order has entered preparation or dispatch.

Refunds & Issues

What if I’m not satisfied with my order?

Your happiness matters to us. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos.

We will review the photos, and where appropriate, we will provide a replacement or alternative solution.

Do you offer full refunds?

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers and our made-to-order process, Abloom does not offer 100% refunds for change of mind or minor natural variations.

Where a genuine quality concern is verified, remedies are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may include a partial refund, store credit, or replacement at our discretion.

Are natural variations considered faults?

No, flowers are natural products. Variations in bloom size, petal texture, reflexing appearance, tone, or minor bruising (particularly in reflexed or light-coloured roses) are normal characteristics and not considered quality faults.
